When BelAmi takes a group of models on location, not everyone works every day. Usually it's up to the production manager to find activities for the boys to keep them entertained. In Cape Town, South Africa, there are both natural landmarks and also popular tourist attractions to visit. For example, a monkey park, an ostrich farm—where one can feed the birds, buy products made from ostrich leather and even eat food made from ostrich meat—and also Ratanga Junction, a park with carnival-type amusements and high-velocity rides.

The "Out in Africa" series doesn't just show the models sightseeing. The three "Out in Africa" videos feature the models in their private lives, getting together for sexual encounters on their own while George Duroy is busy filming elsewhere. In "Out in Africa 1" there are four such scenes.
